You might be interested to know that I’m a newcomer to Solebury United Methodist Church. I began my role as the pastor on July 1, 2010, and have truly enjoyed the transition. People at Solebury have extended hospitality in a way that is open and friendly, but not overwhelming. They’re naturally embracing, in a balanced way. That approach is important to anyone who is looking for a new church!

Here, you will find the atmosphere of a nurturing family. We teach, pray for, and support one another. Worship is always intended to make sure God is at the center of our life; two styles are designed to either build your energy (contemporary), or provide a calm experience (traditional) in a busy life. Either way, please come dressed up or down.

Outreach and witness are also important to us. We believe that the church does not exist in a vacuum, but is called to be part of the community. Together, we learn to tell the story of our faith journey, and we live in service and stewardship, sharing the story as we go.
Solebury people celebrate diversity! We realize that folks have different experiences, from which we can grow together. We do not try to make everyone the same! Our faith is formed by scripture, the tradition of the Christian church, information available to us today, and our own experience with God.
