Building Steering Committee

When we moved to our new location here on Aquetong Road in 2000, we had completed a comprehensive building plan. The plan included a three-phase building process:

Phase   I:   a multi-purpose building which includes our administrative
                 wing,

Phase  II:   our sanctuary building

Phase III:   a school/classroom building

We have completed our Phase I building so we now are turning our efforts to our new sanctuary building.

Our Building Steering Committee is charged with developing a design and use plan for our new sanctuary building. We will be exploring the building design, interior layout, square footage, balcony or basement needs, choir room, classrooms, meeting space, outside building material and, of course, the sanctuary itself. We will be meeting regularly, visiting other churches, interviewing builders and architects, and soliciting input from our various Ministries and our congregation.

A Capital Building Campaign has been established to begin to raise funds for our current mortgage and sufficient funds for the new sanctuary! We will function as an open committee looking for new members and new ideas that will lead to a sanctuary where all God's children will be at home!
